<text>This research focuses on studying the rhythmic and metrical structures used by Stravinsky in The Rite of Spring. One of the movements of the ballet is analyzed: Ritual of the Two Rival Tribes. The dissertation deepens by making a classification and distribution of the rhythmic elements in such a way that they allow a better understanding of the work, and the way Stravinsky uses them, as well as how Stravinsky manages to create a sensation of chaos and disorder without compromising coherence and unity, and some ways and tools of composition typically used by Stravinsky are shown. The historical context of Stravinsky, the disaster that occurred at the premiere of The Rite and some passages of his music in its different musical periods are addressed.</text>
