Facultad de Bellas Artes/Licenciatura en Artes Visuales Abstract A summary of the resource. ¿Qué posibilidades puede generar el arte hoy en día?, ¿brinda utilidad o es beneficioso para la sociedad?, ¿qué clase de compromiso protege un artista en cuanto al arte? El tema principal de este proyecto artístico es el vacío, aquél que se generó al percibir la falta de motivación y de diálogo sobre las prácticas artísticas, relacionado a los procesos creativos, el desconocimiento que se encuentra frente a las producciones artísticas; estas cuestiones que en ocasiones desmotivan a un artista a creer en su trabajo, y así es como las sociedades comienzan a poner en duda la capacidad o virtud que posee el arte. En un punto determinante de la licenciatura muchos de los pensamientos negativos que se tienen acerca de estudiar una carrera en Artes Visuales se implantaron en mi conciencia; por ello, me fue preciso involucrarme en distintos procesos: realizar una movilidad académica al extranjero que me aportó distintos conocimientos artísticos y una realidad distinta a la que creía; participé en grupos de trabajo; y posteriormente realicé mi propio taller con personas no afines a las artes, que me permitieron conocer sus propios vacíos y les permitió a ellos en carne propia conocer distintas posibilidades de creación a través de todo el proceso que se requiere para realizar una producción artística. Este documento es mi testimonio de investicreación artística y conjuga los procesos que llevé a cabo en distintos periodos y espacios, hasta la culminación de una exposición individual en el que presenté veintiocho obras artísticas como conclusión del proyecto. Description An account of the resource What possibilities can art generate today? Does it offer utility or is it beneficial for society? What kind of commitment does an artist protect in relation to art? The main theme of this artistic project is the emptiness, the one that was generated by perceiving the lack of motivation and dialogue about artistic practices, related to creative processes, the ignorance that is faced with artistic productions; These questions sometimes discourage an artist from believing in his/her work, and that is how societies begin to question the capacity or virtue that art possesses. In a determining point of the degree many of the negative thoughts that have about studying a career in Visual Arts were implanted in my conscience; for that reason, I had to get involved in different processes: to make an academic mobility abroad that gave me different artistic knowledge and a different reality than what I believed; I participated in work groups; and then I did my own workshop with people not related to the arts, who allowed me to know their own gaps and allowed them to know different possibilities of creation through the whole process that is required to make an artistic production. This document is my testimony of artistic investigation and it combines the processes that I carried out in different periods and spaces, until the culmination of an individual exhibition in which I presented twenty eight artistic works as a conclusion of the project.
