Incluso antes de iniciar el s XXI, se ha reflexionado sobre la definición de las circunstancias en que se vive, con el propósito de dar respuestas al escenario de la vida contemporánea. La globalización, etapa superior inevitable del capitalismo, da lugar preferente al mercado, impone a través de la comunicación mediatizada una nueva cultura en que el personaje protagónico es la mercancía y en donde la producción artística se ve sometida a sus leyes. El sujeto posmoderno debe ahora preocuparse por buscar alternativas que le alcancen para entender su entorno y transformarlo sin llegar antes a su propia destrucción. El propósito de esta investigación es conocer la confluencia de los diferentes agentes educativos en materia artística, en el proceso de formación de valores estéticos en los niños de los cursos de Iniciación Musical de la FBA. Esta investigación es de alcance exploratorio con un diseño no experimental, en que se optó por una muestra no probalística. Los sujetos tipo elegidos son individuos de diez u once años de edad que: a) hubiesen estudiado en los cursos de Iniciación Musical de la FBA por más de cinco años y b) de nuevo ingreso a estos cursos y que manifestasen alguna, poca o ninguna experiencia al respecto en otra institución. Se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada basada en el protocolo del método clínico, en que se determinaron dos categorías de estudio: lo artístico y lo exitoso. Los resultados demostraron que los estudiantes que han abordado el estudio artístico en forma sistematizada y disciplinaria poseen mayor profundidad de reflexión en el reconocimiento de valores estéticos, con diferencias estadísticas de hasta un cincuenta por ciento, en oposición de quienes no han realizado estos estudios y sus referentes están mayormente relacionados con los valores del mercado. Los principios idealistas de la educación artística y/o musical, que en su momento fueran desarrollados por Schiller, o Vico, sostenidos por ideales humanistas, no debieran ser abandonados por el hombre de actualidad, antes bien es menester retomar equilibrio en esta realidad de prevalecencia de los bienes tecnológicos y mercantiles. Description An account of the resource Even before the beginning of the s XXI, People have been reflected on the definition of the circumstances in which we live, with the purpose of giving answers to the scene of contemporary life. Globalization, upper stage inevitable of capitalism, gives rise to the preferential market, imposes through mediated communication a new culture in which the main character is leading the goods and where the artistic production is subjected to its laws. The postmodern subject must now be worried about seeking enough alternatives to understand their environment and transform it without getting prior to their own destruction. The purpose of this investigation is to know the confluence of the different educational agents in the arts area, in the process of formation of aesthetic values in children from the courses of Initiation Musical of the FBA. This study is to reach exploratory reason with a not experimental design, in which a non probabilistic sample was opted. The subject type elected are individuals with ten or eleven years old: sample (a) had studied in the courses of Musical Initiation of the FBA by more than five years and sample(b) of new income to these courses and to give any, little or no musical experience in another institution. A semistructured interview protocol based on the clinical method was applied, from this two categories of study were identified the artistic and successful. The results showed that students who have approached the study of art in a systematic way and disciplinary have deeper reflection on the recognition of aesthetic values, with statistical differences up to fifty percent, in opposition to those who have not completed these studies and their referents are mostly related to market values. The idealists principles of artistic education and/or musical, that in its time were developed by Schiller, or Vico, holded on humanist ideals, they should not be abandoned by today´s man, in foreground it is necessary resume balance in this reality of prevail of technological assets and business.
