El presente trabajo desarrollará una investigación sobre el “Rompimiento brechtiano”, el “Distanciamiento” y sus aplicaciones en la escena de la teoría del teatro épico de Bertolt Brecht, complementándolo con la teoría de otro teórico ruso, Meyerhold, con el cual compartió algunas ideas de esta nueva manera de hacer teatro, en un contexto revolucionario en ambos países (Rusia y Alemania). Brecht luchó contra el teatro acartonado de la época, integrando las técnicas que Meyerhold dejó a las nuevas generaciones de teatristas: “La biomecánica”. Se mostrará la manera de converger distintas tendencias y teorías teatrales de los últimos tres siglos en una sola, como base de la construcción de los personajes. Para ello se estudiarán los distintos planteamientos teóricos de Stanislavski y el mencionado Meyerhold, junto con otros tantos que sólo se tomarán como referencia: Barba, Brook, Piscator, Reinhardt, entre otros. Se hará referencia a los aportes sociales y estudios de Marx, Benjamin, Adorno e importantes estudiosos del siglo XX. Todos ellos influenciaron a Bertolt Brecht: objeto del estudio en sí, quien ya en el siglo XX, desarrollaría todo un estudio acerca del teatro moderno y los planteamientos para realizarlo, a esto lo llamó “Teatro épico”. Se hará un estudio del actor total; además se ahondará en la aplicación de las herramientas básicas de construcción de personajes a la manera de un actor épico, mostrando los artilugios con los que debe contar para no perderse en un mar de sentimientos, haciendo de él un actor consciente de su entorno escénico y creando a su vez un espectador consciente de lo que es la naturaleza del teatro. El estudio de este tipo de teatro es el tema principal en el presente trabajo, y la parte medular de todas las teorías aquí planteadas convergen de una manera u otra en lo expuesto por Brecht, planteando las “Herramientas básicas para la construcción de personajes en el contexto del teatro épico de Bertolt Brecht”. Description An account of the resource The present work will develop an investigation on the “brechtian Break”, the “Distance” and its applications in the scene in the B. Brecht’s theory of epic theater, complementing it with the theory of another Russian theoretician, Meyerhold, with which he shared some ideas of this new way to make theater, in a revolutionary context in both countries (Russia and Germany).
