Por otro lado, para complementar los aportes realizados por los alumnos y docentes de este instrumento, se expone un análisis histórico respecto a la evolución de la educación musical a partir del siglo XX, además de algunas reflexiones sobre la enseñanza instrumental según la experiencia de estudiosos de la pedagogía musical como, Émile Jaques-Dalcroze, Cecilia Jorquera Jaramiño, Violeta Hemsy de Gainza, Paulina Derbez, Valentín Solís Aguilar y Bejamin Whitcomb de manera que se encuentren los nexos entre la teoría y la práctica a fin de exponer consideraciones útiles en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del contrabajo. Para la realización del presente proyecto se utilizó el modelo cualitativo de investigación. Como herramienta para la recolección de datos, por un lado, se hace uso de la entrevista y el cuestionario electrónico y por otro la recopilación de los documentos que han estudiado el tema, la enseñanza del instrumento en general y del contrabajo en específico. Las entrevistas fueron realizadas a dos grupos, el primero, fue compuesto por docentes de contrabajo Donovan Strokes (EUA), Barry Green (EUA), Claus Freudenstein (Alemania), Thierry Barbe (Francia), Alonso Hernández Prado (México, Querétaro), Enrique Aguilar Canuto (México, Querétaro), Claudia Gabriela Arróyave Mendoza (México, Nuevo León) y José Ricardo García Fernández (México, Querétaro). El segundo grupo fue compuesto por 23 estudiantes del instrumento originarios de Chiapas, Coahuila, México, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Morelos, Baja California y Zacatecas. Para el análisis de los cuestionarios y las entrevistas se utilizó el modelo sugerido por Bertely (2000), en el cual propone la sistematización y análisis de las categorías sociales, las categorías que identifica el intérprete y las categorías teóricas. En los resultados se encuentran los principales problemas enfrentados por los docentes y discentes del instrumento y a la vez que se exponen reflexiones y consejos para tratar las problemáticas expuestas. Description An account of the resource The objective of this research is to make available to Mexican double bass players diverse experiences shared by students and teachers (national and foreign) regarding the teaching and learning of double bass. On the other hand, to complement the contributions made by students and teachers of this instrument a historical analysis is presented regarding the evolution of music education from the twentieth century. In addition, some reflections on instrumental teaching according to the experience of scholars of musical pedagogy such as Emile Jaques-Dalcroze, Cecilia Jorquera Jaramino, Violeta Hemsy de Gainza, Paulina Derbez, Valentin Solis Aguilar and Bejamin Whitcomb in order to find the links between theory and practice in order to explain useful considerations in the teaching-learning process of the contrabass. Partiendo de los conceptos que se asocian a este último como lo abyecto, el morbo y lo obsceno, estudiados desde diferentes disciplinas como el psicoanálisis, la filosofía, la sociología y la teoría de la imagen y alejados de los juicios morales, se utilizan como estrategias de análisis que permiten profundizar en las obras de los artistas y en la reacción del espectador ante ellas. Margolles utiliza la materialidad del cadáver como algo abyecto que traduce la violencia social y confronta la psique del espectador. Lo morboso en las fotografías de Metinides revela la atracción de mirar que existe hacia el cadáver y el desconocimiento que tiene el individuo de sí mismo. Lo obsceno en las pinturas de Pacheco, en donde un cadáver anónimo hipervisible demuestra que los ideales del humanismo no alcanzaron para proporcionar dignidad a todos los hombres. Estos artistas abren la posibilidad de que el espectador repiense la forma en que se relaciona con la muerte y con los muertos, desde de la violencia que genera esas muertes y la violenta presencia del cadáver para el hombre contemporáneo. Description An account of the resource This study explores the artistic discourses related to the representation of the corpse through the analysis of the works of the Mexicans Teresa Margolles, Enrique Metinides and Martha Pacheco. Beginning with the concepts associated with this subject, such as what is abject, morbid and obscene, studied within different disciplines such as psychoanalysis, philosophy, sociology and the theory of image, taken apart from moral judgments, these are used as analysis strategies for delving into the works of the artists and the reaction of the spectator to these works. Margolles uses the materiality of the corpse as something abject which translates social violence and confronts the spectator’s psyche. The morbidness of Metinides’ photographs reveals the attraction of looking at the corpse and the individual’s ignorance of himself/herself. The obscene in the paintings of Pacheco showing a hyper-visible anonymous corpse demonstrates that the ideals of humanism did not provide dignity to all men. These artists give the spectator a chance to rethink the way in which he/she relates to death and the dead, from the violence that causes these deaths and the violent presence of the corpse for contemporary man. El cómic norteamericano es entonces una forma de expresión que se ha desarrollado en parte gracias al desempeño de las partes que lo confeccionan (principalmente argumento y dibujo); cada elemento en el cómic (color, texto, tintas, globos de dialogo, etc.), puede tener una persona o equipo dedicado completamente a él, con Jo que estos elementos evolucionan cada vez para desarrollar mejor su función. Con esta "especialización" de cada componente, en el cómic converge la creatividad y expresión de diferentes personas desarrollando su función, lo que a su vez deriva en una mayor atención de estos elementos que podrían pasar inadvertidos. El cómic se nutre de algunas de las Bellas Artes y artes aplicadas, que enriquecen su expresión otorgándole bases para su mejor desarrollo. La evolución de los aspectos influenciados por el dibujo, pintura, diseño gráfico etc., ha llegado a niveles de calidad considerable; ahora la cinematografía es objeto de alimentación, cada vez con mayor influencia el llamado séptimo arte se manifiesta a través de principios técnicos y narrativos en el cómic, y parece será una disciplina de apoyo importante para el cómic en los próximos años. Sin embargo, el aspecto visual esta supeditado a una apreciación de corte similar a la literatura, por desarrollarse a través de múltiples páginas, esto presenta una variante para ambas formas de expresión; una expresión visual secuenciada en páginas, y una narración escrita donde la parte visual va mucho más allá de la labor de las viñetas, involucrándose por completo en la historia. Estos dos aspectos; argumento y dibujo, son sus ingredientes fundamentales, se encuentran auxiliados por la creatividad y sensibilidad artística de quienes desarrollan las demás etapas y elementos, los cuales se desarrollan en función del contexto y estilo de los dos mencionados elementos principales. La evolución del cómic en Jos últimos años ha sido evidente, para ello entre otras cosas, la tecnología digital ha jugado un papel relevante, es seguramente la herramienta que ha orientado al cómic hacia una nueva perspectiva, y ha permitido una más compleja elaboración, permitiendo también complejidad en los temas del argumento. Por otra parte, el gore es una forma de expresión fundamentada en su carácter explícito, esta es probablemente su principal característica además de la sangre, que no se mantiene como constante de obra en esta manifestación. El gore se ha manifestado en diferentes disciplinas de las artes, surge en la cinematografía y después llega a los soportes pictóricos, donde a pesar de su intención cruda y directa, la técnica es un elemento de reconocible calidad. La producción gore es accesible principalmente por medio de la música, no es aún muy extensa su distribución como obra visual por sí misma, lo cual ha dificultado su identificación como corriente expresiva, de esta forma abarcamos obra no precisamente gore, que ayuda a definir la ideología principal de esta tendencia, ya que este tipo de contenidos se han presentado en otras manifestaciones, de características menos enfáticas. Los principales argumentos que avalan al gore como una creación visual, residen en: técnica, contexto, idea y creatividad, estos elementos representan una sólida barrera entre el gore e imágenes sin pretensiones artísticas, que en un momento dado pueden parecer similares. La labor de estos cuatro elementos es también justificar la elocuencia de la obra, que a través de ellos se comprenda el por que Ja obra es así, ya que pueden abordarse otras formas para comunicar la misma idea, pero el gore lo hace por medio de la más explícita. El gore es principalmente expresivo, no pretende la belleza sino expresar de forma fulminante y directa, ¿a caso no es la expresión humana, una de las principales características del arte?, además el gore provoca sensaciones y probablemente una reflexión. Expresión, estímulo de sensaciones y pensamientos; elementos presentes en el gore, reconocidos como características fundamentales en el arte. resumen 3 La imagen para los CD's nace con un propósito utilitario, su expres1on esta ligada y supeditada a la obra musical. Dentro de las artes utilitarias, el CD testifica la simbiosis entre dos formas diferentes de expresión, donde la imagen es el anexo de la música. La imagen de CD' s, transmite una idea aún cuando esta puede no ser propia, lo cual no precisamente le resta valor, pues como ya mencionamos, dentro de las artes utilitarias el artista se ve ante la necesidad de enfocar su objetivo, con un fin impuesto por otro elemento. Aún cuando la portada recibe la mayor carga de la expresión visual, los demás elementos cumplen una función importante y específica, que debe ser minuciosamente atendida pues estos elementos influyen también en la percepción del espectador. El CD manifiesta notables cambios ante su predecesor, que implican ventajas y adversidades, por una parte el tamaño compacto permite una mayor ergonomía, mientras que pierde el amplio formato de portada, sin embargo la portada muestra una mayor resistencia al estar contenida en un acrílico etc. La música contenida en un objeto da pie a esta forma de expresión visual, que día a día se vuelve un elemento más importante para el audio, requiere atención especial pues sin él la música sería fastidiosamente identificable. Su tarea también consiste en guiar al espectador, hacia el contexto que el músico ha pretendido expresar, ya que desde la portada comienza una cierta sugestión y predisposición ante lo que vamos a escuchar, de esta forma el elemento visual en la música es sustancial, pues el interprete no querrá ser escuchado con una mala disposición de su auditorio. Las técnicas y formatos son extensas, aún dentro de las limitantes principalmente de presupuesto y reproducción, el óleo es una de las más recurrentes, aunque este es un aspecto libre. La imagen, similar como ocurrió con la letra (lyrics), es ahora un aspecto imprescindible del CD actual, la simbiosis de la expresión escrita, musical y visual, crean una obra muy completa donde estos elementos sueldan cada vez más. Estas 3 formas de expresión visual se desarrollaron durante el siglo pasado y se encuentran en un punto donde probablemente su evolución continuará, a la espera de ver en que forma son influidas y apoyadas por la tecnología, la cual que parece tendrá la más evidente evolución en el presente siglo. With the "specialization" of every component, in comic joins the creativity and expression of different people developing its own function, which at the same time derive in these elements having more attention, when easily it use to be unseen. Comic get feeded from sorne of the Fine Arts and aplicated arts, which enrich it given to it sorne bases to its development. The evolution of the influenced aspects by the drawing, painting, graphic design, etc., had now high quality levels, now a days, the cinematography is object of alimentation; every time with higher influence, the named seventh art is manifested by technique and narrative principies in comic, and it seems that it will be an important support discipline for comic in the coming years. No often, the visual aspect is conditioned to a similar way of appreciation than the literature, because it is developed along multiple pages, this represents a difference between this two expression ways; a visual expression sequenced in pages, anda writed narration where the visual part goes further than a vignette work, getting completely involved in the plot. This two elements; plot and drawing, are its fundamental ingredients, being helped by the creativity and artistic sensitivity, from who develop the other element and stages, in function to the context and style of the mentioned two main elements. The comic evolution in the last years have been evident, for that amongst other things, digital technology have played an important role, certainly it is the tool that has been oriented comic into a new perspective, and allowed a complex elaboration, allowing complex in the argument too. In other subject, the gore is an expression way that is founded in its explicit character; this probably is its main characteristic, instead of the blood, which is not the constant of this manifestation. The gore has been manifested in sorne different disciplines in arts, it carne out in cinematography, and then it carne to the plastic supports, where despite of its rough and direct intention, the techniques are an element of recognizable quality. The gore production is accessible the most by music, and hasn't a big distribution as a visual piece itself, what made difficult its identification, in this way we take work not precisely gore, which can help to define the main idea of this tendency, because this type of contents has been present in other manifestations not that explicit than gore. The principie arguments that avail gore as a visual creation, resides in: technique, context, idea, and creativity; this elements represents a solid barrier between gore and sorne images without any artistic intention, which can seem alike, but are not. This four element's labor is to justify the piece eloquence, which through them can be understandable why the piece has those characteristics, while can be other ways to express the same idea, but gore uses the most explicit. Inside the utilitarian arts, the CD testifies the symbiosis between two different expression ways, where the image is the attachment of the music. The CD's image, transmit an idea even when it can not been own, what <loes not precisely gets less worth, because as we mentioned, in utilitarian arts the artist face the need to focus his obj ective in function of a goal determined by another element. Even when the cover holds the most of the visual aspect, the other elements have an important and specific function, which must be detail attended, because these elements influenced in our perception too. The CD manifest notorious changes respect its ancient form (the LP), that means advantages and adversities, in one hand the compact size allows a better ergonomic handling, while looses the bigger space for the cover, even so, the cover shows a longer resistance when in the CD is contained in an acrylic case, etc. The music contained in an object, starts with this visual expression way, that <lay by <lay becomes a more important element for the audio, it requires special attention, because without it, music were annoying to identify. Its work also consist in guide the spectator into the context that the musician has pretended to express, right then in the cover starts sorne suggestion and predisposition about what we are about to hear, in this way the visual element in music is substantial, because the musician wouldn't want to be heard in a bad disposition from the listener. The techniques and formats are extensive, even with the limitations about budget and production. Oíl painting is one of the most used, but it can be any other technique or combination of techniques. The image, just like it happens with the lyrics, is now an aspect of huge importance in the actual CD, the symbiosis between the writing expression, musical and visual, creates a very complete work, where this elements weld stronger every day. This 3 ways of visual expression were developed during the last century and are in the point where probably its evolution will go on, in the whisper to see how they are influenced and supported by technology, that seems will have the most evident evolution during the present century. In the same way, the ways of visual expression in the millennium change, certainly will be influenced and intervened by technology, adapting to the evolution speed and sorne of it trying to be developed near the human way of life. Description An account of the resource The objective of this investigation is to explain and to demonstrate that Antonin Artaud was rather an art visionary than a foolish person, like he was unfairly classified by most of his contemporary social environment. By means of studying his writings and using the results of other researchers’ analysis, this work clarifies his theories about the confusion of the culture, the concept of society sickens, the speech of the abyect art, the language of the art, the demanding art of the cruelty and the duality that they are up to date in contemporary art analysis. Las obras de arte que utilizan nuevas tecnologías generan una relación interesante entre el sujeto y el objeto artístico que en casos específicos apuntan a la representación o alusión de los sistemas de control social. Después de la revisión de varios textos sobre arte digital, Realidad Virtual y arte interactivo, se encontró la falta de conceptualización y reflexión teórica en torno a las obras artísticas que representan de forma explícita o disfrazada los sistemas de control existentes dentro del arte interactivo y la Realidad Virtual. Es por esto que será enriquecedor proponer nuevos enfoques interpretativos a estas obras de arte, encontrando en ellas las estrategias operativas de los sistemas de control y encierro hacia el sujeto mediante tres enfoques principalmente; el primero mediante la abolición de la distancia entre el sujeto y la obra, es decir el sujeto queda sumergido –encerrado- dentro de la obra, el segundo es la noción de sujeto como injerto de la obra dejando de ser solamente el espectador y ahora disolviéndose en la obra hasta convertirse en injerto y finalmente el tercero es la representación de una obra que encarcela, encierra, utiliza, manipula y vigila al espectador representando de esta manera explícitamente los sistemas de control social. Con estas tres vertientes este texto genera una nueva categoría de análisis del arte y el uso de nuevas tecnologías que puede resultar enriquecedor para estudios de arte digital, Realidad Virtual y Arte Interactivo. Description An account of the resource Works of art using new technologies create an interesting relationship between the subject and the artistic object, which in specific cases points to the representation or allusion of social control systems. After reviewing of several texts on Digital Art, Virtual Reality and Interactive Art, a lack of conceptualization and theoretical reflection regarding the artistic works that represent explicitly or in a disguised manner the control systems that exist within Interactive Art and Virtual Reality was found. As a result, it will be enriching to propose new interpretive focuses on these art works, finding in them the operative strategies of the system of control and enclosure of the subject chiefly through three focuses: the first through the abolition of distance between the subject and the work, in other works, the subject is immersed closed within the work; the second is notion of the subject as an implant within the work, ceasing to be only a viewer and becoming dissolved in the work until he/she becomes and implant; finally, the third is the representation of a work that imprisons, closes in, utilizes, manipulates and keeps guard over the viewer, thus explicitly representing the system of social control. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como principal objetivo comprender los procesos de apropiación y significación en la obra urbana de graffitis del artista inglés Banksy debido a la propuesta artística-social que manifiesta y que se enmarca en el área de arte contemporáneo. Para comprender la esencia de su obra se pretende vincularlo con otras propuestas plásticas artístico-sociales del graffiti que a lo largo de la historia han consolidado esta nueva propuesta anónima y trasgresora en los espacios públicos urbanos. Obra cuyo principal interés es mostrar un contenido de carácter ideológico a la sociedad, valiéndose de la apropiación de elementos significativos e icónicos para estructurar el lenguaje creativo que le otorga validez. En este sentido se realiza una investigación que exponga la trayectoria artística de este popular graffitero de finales de los 80´s donde se analicen las fuertes críticas y sátiras sobre política, sociedad, cultura pop, consumismo, deterioro moral y ambiental que caracterizan su obra y realizar conexiones rizomáticas con la obra de otros artistas como Basquiat, en cuanto a su contenido temático, con Warhol, en el aspecto de apropiación y con Duchamp en lo que se refiere a la significación. El arte urbano de Banksy se manifiesta como una propuesta artística innovativa y creativa de las que destaca el uso de esténciles o plantillas, técnica muy usada por su homólogo francés Blek le Rat. Esta investigación pretende mostrar la propuesta apropiacionista de este artista del graffiti de destacadas obras de la historia del arte, así como la apropiación y resignificación de espacios públicos. Description An account of the resource The main objective of this study is to understand the appropriation and meaning processes in the urban graffiti work of the English artist Banksy. Due to the social-artistic proposal that is manifested, his work falls within the framework of the area of contemporary art. To understand the essence of his work, it is important to relate it to other plastic social-artistic proposals of the graffiti movement which throughout history have become consolidated in this new anonymous and transgressive expression in public urban spaces. The primary interest of these works is to show a content of ideological character to society, using the appropriation of significant and iconic elements to structure the creative language which gives it validity. It is with this in mind that research is conducted to expose the artistic trajectory of this popular graffiti artist from the late 80´s, analyzing the strong criticism of and satire on politics, society, pop culture, consumerism and moral and environmental deterioration that characterize his work. Also, rhizomatic connections are established with the work of other artists such as Basquiat, in thematic content, Warhol, in the aspect of appropriation and Duchamp, related to meaning. Banksy´s urban art is manifested as an innovative and creative proposal in which stencils or templates are used, a technique much utilized by the Frenchman Blek le Rat. Lo cotidiano es el espacio donde cada ser humano concreta su vida, y funciona también como lazo conductor para conocer a la sociedad y a sus diferentes actores. Partiendo de ahí, en este estudio se ilustra la estética de la vida cotidiana adoptando un criterio cronológico, que permitirá establecer, en la historia del arte, los diferentes modos de abordar el tema de lo cotidiano. Si en la pintura de género del siglo XVI, lo cotidiano era meramente una representación anecdótica, para el arte actual, lo cotidiano es un espacio para la exploración de la identidad, esto, como respuesta a la subjetividad emanada de las transformaciones sociales, políticas y culturales del mundo globalizado. De tal modo, se incorpora el análisis de la estética feminista bajo la teoría de la posmodernidad, esclareciendo la forma en que las artistas intervinieron los actos cotidianos y los discursos de género. Además se presenta el estudio de la obra fotográfica de la artista Ana Casas Broda, quien indaga su vida cotidiana por medio de la obra autobiográfica, tras una necesidad de explorar su identidad. En la obra de esta artista se refleja el lenguaje propio de la multiplicidad, inherente al posmodernismo, que se entrecruza sutilmente con la estética feminista. Por esta razón, crece el interés por las cualidades de su trabajo y la manera en que aborda su vida cotidiana, que permiten comprender a la artista y descubrir al ser humano, puesto que en sus proyectos aparece esta lucha incesante de conocerse a sí misma, logrando conectarnos con la propia existencia. En los tres proyectos de Ana Casas se analiza una reflexión acerca de las cualidades del medio fotográfico, que tiene que ver con la disociación entre la imagen y la experiencia, la relación entre la fotografía y la realidad. Description An account of the resource Everyday life is the space in which every human being settles his life, and it also works as a common thread to get to know society and its different actors. Starting from there, this study illustrates the aesthetic of everyday life with a chronologic point of view, which will allow us to establish, in the history of art, the different ways of approaching the subject of the everyday. If in the XVI century’s genre painting the everyday was merely an anecdotic depiction, for today’s art the everyday life is a space or the exploration of identity; this, as an answer to the subjectivity generated by the globalized world’s social, political and cultural transformations. In this way, the analysis of the feminist aesthetic is incorporated under the theory of post-modernity, clarifying the way in which female artists took part in daily acts and genre discourse. In addition, the study of the photographic work of Ana Casas Broda is presented, which examines her daily life through autobiographical work, after a need of exploring her own identity. In Ana Casas’ work, one can see the language of multiplicity -inherent in postmodernism- intertwined in a subtly manner with the feminist aesthetic. Due to this, the interest in the qualities of her work and the way of approaching daily life grows, allowing to understand the artist and to discover the human being, since in her projects one can see this never-ending struggle to know herself, managing to link us with the very existence. Ana Casas’ three projects analyze a reflection on the qualities of the photographic media, which is related to the dissociation between image and experience; the relation between photography and reality. Con mucho gusto me entero de que la Escuela de Bellas Artes quiere concretar un antiguo anhelo: Tener su propia revista, como un medio de expresión artística en sí misma pero, más que otra cosa, como testimonio de la larga tradición estética que tiene Querétaro. Y no puede ser de otro modo en una institución universitaria como la nuestra, en donde siempre se ha tratado de encontrar el equilibrio entre las distintas áreas de conocimiento que reflejan simplemente la integridad humana en todas sus facultades: El intelecto, la memoria, la imaginación, la afectividad... El arte no puede estar ajeno a ninguna de las carreras o niveles de la formación universitaria. Sea como área de expresión totalmente informal o espontánea; sea en el currículum de materias que complementan la formación humana en cualquiera de las licenciaturas que se imparten en las áreas de conocimiento; sea, en forma específica, como carreras técnicas y licenciaturas de contenido artístico y mediante las cuales se educan los futuros guías y coordinadores de las áreas artísticas en las secundarias, las preparatorias o en los niveles superiores, inclusive como promotores del arte en las casas de la cultura en municipios, en los talleres de artes y oficios que las comunidades requieren. El arte constituye la expresión más íntima de la armonía y de la belleza del alma, que se nutre del orden y de la armonía del universo. Por eso es tan importante escribir y dar a conocer los temas artísticos en todas las posibles formas de interacción entre el artista y su medio, así como entre el objeto artístico y el espectador. En este caso, la revista será un medio para conocer nuestros antecedentes y para difundir un rico presente lleno de todas las posibilidades abiertas al futuro. En el año de 1804, los Padres Franciscanos construyeron el edificio que actualmente ocupa la esquina de las calles de Juárez e Independencia en el centro de la ciudad de Querétaro para crear la “Escuela Gratui­ta de Primeras Letras de la Purísima Concepción de Nuestra Señora” y considerando que “la educación no sería completa, sino mediante una capacitación artística, determinaron destinar en lo alto del edificio un gran salón y otras piezas, donde se puso academia de dibujo”. Desde entonces, y pese a las vicisitudes de los tiempos, La Academia marcó el pulso artístico de la Ciudad y su entorno social, no sólo en las Artes Plásticas, sino en todas las áreas de las Bellas Artes. En 1867, tras la caída del pseudoimperio de Maximiliano, tanto La Escuela como La Academia queda­ron bajo el cuidado del Gobierno de Querétaro. El año de 1916 señala el inicio de una época de grata memoria para La Academia: Don Germán Patiño propone establecer en forma una Escuela de Bellas Artes que con el tiempo se convierte en semillero de grandes artistas y conjunta a magníficos maestros, como Don José Aguilar en música; al Vate Ruiz Cabañas en literatura; Don Agustín González en solfeo; Don Felipe Ángeles en dibujo y el propio maestro Don Germán Patiño en pintura. El 20 de mayo de 1953, el vetusto edificio se llenó de bullicio y alegría inusitados. El entonces Gobernador del Estado, Dr. Octavio S. Mondragón, hacía entrega del inmueble a la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro y su Rector, el Lic. Femando Díaz Ramírez nombraba Primer Coordinador al Lic. J. Guadalupe Ramírez Álvarez, constituyéndose así el “Instituto de Bellas Artes de la U.A.Q.” Fue ésta la época de maestros como María Oñate, Enriqueta Rangel, Carmen Septién y Esperanza Cabrera en piano; César Quirarte en violín; Alirio Campos, fundador del Coro de la Universidad; Cecilia Legarreta, Estela Barrón y Ma. Elena Cisneros en danza y ballet; Salvador Galván, Agustín Rivera y Jesús Rodríguez en artes plásticas y el nacimiento de grupos que han dado renombre internacional a nuestra Universidad, como los “Cómicos de la Legua” y la “Estudiantina de la U.A.Q.” Estos últimos cuarenta años de existencia de las Bellas Artes en la U.A.Q. nos han permitido basamos en la experiencia del pasado para actuar en el presente y proyectar el porvenir. Las necesidades de creci­miento crearon el edificio de Bellas Artes en el Centro Universitario (año de 1985} para las artes visuales y escénicas, quedando el edificio de Juárez e Independencia para las actividades musicales. Las expectativas sociales y el decidido apoyo del Ing. Jesús Pérez Hermosillo, actual Rector de la U.A.Q. nos han motivado para pasar de la época romántica y bohemia de los talleres de arte a la de la profesionalización con la Licenciatura en Educación Musical y las carreras técnicas de Ejecutante Instrumentista, Restauración de Pintura de Caballete y Diseño en Artes Visuales, de las que hemos entregado a la sociedad las primeras generaciones de profesionistas; así mismo, se ha establecido la Licenciatu­ra en Artes Visuales, la Licenciatura en Música y las carreras de Técnico en Artes Plásticas y Técnico Teatral y se proyecta la Licenciatura en Artes Escénicas. LA RENOVACION DE UN COMPROMISO Comenzó tal como debe de ser, dirigiéndose específicamente al Honorable Consejo Universitario en calidad de representante de la comunidad universitaria, pero la verdad es que no sólo le habló a la Institución, sino más bien a lodos los que aquí en Querétaro vivimos la experiencia de alojar una Universidad que, en opinión de propios y extraños, cuenta con uno de los mejores niveles de docencia y de posgrado y que en investigación es ejemplo para instituciones con mejores recursos. La Universidad es, a nuestro juicio, la más digna...dignísima institución. Que difícil, entonces, la tarea de mantenerla, no sólo funcionando, sino en desarrollo evidente. Cuando el Ing. Jesús Pérez Hermosillo dijo: "...adquiero el compromiso académico más importante de mi vida con mucha mayor profundidad el día de hoy...", lo primero que pensamos fue en cuán cierta era esa aseveración. La tan traída y llevada "crisis" por la que atraviesa nuestro México es, además de un fastidioso lugar común, una verdad irrebatible. La Universidad, necesariamente, ha estado sufriendo diversos tipos de enfermedades que se derivan de esa situación, y de las cuales ya muchos han opinado con más y mejores bases. Pero lo verdaderamente importante, como bien lo señaló el señor Rector en su discurso es que afortunadamente aquí hay universitarios maestros, alumnos, autoridades, funcionarios y trabajadores en general que están y estarán colaborando codo con codo para lograr que sigamos creciendo y trascendiendo en el ámbito local y nacional. Eso, señores, tan sólo se logra mediante una dirección objetiva, justa, democrática y abierta. El escabroso asunto del manejo de las relaciones laborales resulta punto de partida para lograr la elusión de infinidad de problemas que irremisiblemente afectan a la Academia. Los logros obtenidos, a pesar de no depender única ni directamente de la Rectoría, han sido importantes y resulta evidente y tranquilizador el que se esté luchando seriamente porque la circunstancia nos sea más favorable a todos. La tarea, repito, es de proporciones ingentes, el Ing. Pérez Hermosillo está ahí. LA LICENCIATURA EN ARTES VISUALES EN LA ESCUELA DE BELLAS ARTES DE LA UA.Q. Como en lo relativo a otros objetos de conocimiento, en materia de educación artística, la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, a través de su Escuela de Bellas Artes, es real alternativa para adecuar el conocimiento a la satisfacción de las necesidades de nuestro tiempo. El proyecto de Licenciatura en Artes Visuales, es respuesta a la demanda social, de estudios congruentes con la transformación que la propia sociedad requiere, para la construcción de su historia. Considerar la necesidad de formar profesionales en el extenso campo de las artes visuales contemporáneas significa apoyar, desde la Universidad, la presencia cultural de la sociedad. Mas dicha presencia no es concebible sin la propia superación académica y claridad de objetivos en nuestra Alma Mater. La Licenciatura en Artes Visuales, enmarcada en el proceso de profesionalización de los estudios de Arte de la Escuela de Bellas Artes, es consecuencia de la importante experiencia de 38 años de actividad educativa en y para Querétaro. Facultad de Bellas Artes/Posgrado Abstract A summary of the resource. ¿Qué pasa con la música sinfónica en Querétaro? 1991, año que pasará a la historia como el de los grandes acontecimientos políticos y sociales a nivel mundial, nacional y local. 1992, año de las esperanzas, de la realización de proyectos como aquél soñado de contar en Querétaro con música sinfónica. Una orquesta de cámara o sinfónica, independientemente de que cubre las necesidades de educación popular y difusión de la música culta, es un parámetro del nivel de desarrollo artístico y cultural de una ciudad; y la Ciudad de Querétaro en su 460 años de historia no ha podido consolidar un proyecto estable de Orquesta. Ciudades más jóvenes de la República cuentan ya con orquesta sinfónica mediante proyectos que involucran participación estatal, de instituciones diversas y patronatos constituidos. "el Maestro Benja", como sus alumnos lo llaman cuando rodean su mesa de trabajo en el taller de escultura de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro y contemplan, con respetuosa admiración, cómo la gubia del artista transforma un burdo tronco de madera en el rostro de sublime inocencia de un Niño Jesús o en la expresión del dolor sobrehumano de Dios hecho hombre y Crucifijo. Porque Don Benjamín es escultor de Arte Sacro. Sus imágenes de Santos Cristos, Sagradas Vírgenes y Santos —más de 150 obras— se encuentran en templos, capillas y colecciones privadas en California, EE.UU., en diversos Estados de la República Mexicana y especialmente de los municipios de Querétaro. Hombre sencillo, chapado a la antigua, de noble corazón y gran sensibilidad, salpica su ingeniosa plática con chascarrillos y anécdotas de sus andanzas, mientras sus manos trabajan en una media talla o con exquisita sensibilidad conducen el trazo del alumno en el manejo de la gubia o atemperan el golpe del martillo para la conformación de la imagen corpórea. Sin embargo, el reconocimiento social no llega para el escultor de imágenes religiosas; su trabajo se convierte en un Cristo o en una Virgen que motivarán la fe del creyente con atribuciones milagrosas o que cautivarán por su belleza celestial. Nadie se acuerda del artista que, con divina inspiración, plasmara su propia sensibilidad y espiritualidad en la imagen venerada. Pero el artista existe. En la soledad de su taller o rodeado por sus alumnos, la grandeza de un humilde escultor continúa —con sencillez y emotividad—creando las imágenes que servirán al hombre de enlace con su Dios. Profr. Con febril impaciencia esperaba la Noche de Reyes. Este año, la historia se repitió. En la Editorial de un número anterior de esta Revista escribí una carta a los Reyes Magos: Pedía una orquesta; pedía música sinfónica; pedía que mi hermoso terruño queretano se recreara, como todas las ciudades cultas del mundo, con la vivida ejecución de la obra de los inmortales de la música. EL CORAL UNIVERSITARIO DE LA ESCUELA DE BELLAS ARTES DE LA UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE QUERETARO En el marco de las celebraciones de los “40 Años de Bellas Artes en la Universidad Autónoma de Queretaro”, que conmemoramos este año de 1993, la existencia del CO­RAL UNIVERSITARIO a cuatro voces mixtas y su sección de Coro Infantil, tiene especial significado porque representa un encomiable esfuerzo conjunto de maestros y alumnos de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la U.A.Q. por participar en proyectos de la gran calidad que propicia la FILARMONICA DE QUERETARO. Este trabajo de investigación propone la construcción de un mapa conceptual de la visualidad contemporánea. Este objetivo principal, tiene como fundamentación teórica la obra de Michel Foucault. Es decir, a partir de la ubicación de los tres ejes que articulan el pensamiento y la obra del autor francés, se pretenden rastrear ciertos puntos o coordenadas desde de los cuales sea posible la construcción de un mapa de lo visible. ¿Por qué no comenzar por un análisis histórico “arqueológico”, del saber y del poder y de su relación con lo visible? Esta propuesta, a manera de una Historia de la imagen en occidente, de Regis Debray, reconoce la necesidad de un acercamiento crítico con la visualidad contemporánea; situación que en este trabajo se pretende lograr fundamentalmente desde una plataforma teórica foucaultiana. De esta manera, se trata de generar un sentido crítico de pertenencia, a través de un devenir visual, que nos proyecta de las sociedades disciplinarias a las sociedades de control (Gilles Deleuze). Por lo tanto, el mapa que se pretende construir en este trabajo, parte de una plataforma arqueológica (Foucault), desde la cual puedan emerger en concreto las líneas de visibilidad y sus cruces con el saber, con el poder y con el sujeto. Es decir, a través del saber, del poder y del sujeto, como los tres ejes que estructuran la obra de Foucault y los ejes del mapa, esta propuesta sitúa el problema de la visibilidad como construcción socio-cultural, como paradigma de la visualidad. La propuesta teórica foucaultiana, se especifica aquí, como una arqueología de la visualidad. Por eso, el marco teórico está conformado por elementos históricos que vierten elementos de análisis sobre la construcción socio-cultural de la visualidad (saber visual, práctica visual), para, a partir de ello, incorporar una lectura crítica a la manera Gilles Deleuze. En este sentido, el pensamiento de Foucault aporta a la vez el marco teórico y el marco histórico de un mapa como figuración en movimiento, para intentar modularlo, construirlo, reconstruirlo y aproximarnos a la relación entre arte y sociedad desde una plataforma conceptual crítica. Desde una perspectiva fluctuante, móvil, la cartografía sería entonces una de “lo positivo y lo múltiple”, una de la diferencia. Considerando que lo productivo no es sedentario sino nómada, la modulación refiere al sintagma como encadenamiento múltiple, diverso y singular. Description An account of the resource This research proposes the construction of a conceptual map of contemporary visuality. The main objective is the theoretical work of Michel Foucault. That is, from the location of the three strands of thought and work of French author, is intended to track certain points or coordinates from which is possible to construct a map of the visible. Why not start with a historical analysis "archeology" of knowledge and power and its relationship with the visible? This proposal, by way of a History of the Western image of Regis Debray, recognizes the need for a critical approach to contemporary visual art, a situation that in this work is sought primarily from Foucault theoretical platform. Thus, it is critical to generate a sense of belonging, through a visual evolution, we projected from disciplinary societies to control societies (Gilles Deleuze). Therefore, the map which aims to build on this work, part of an archaeological platform (Foucault), from which can emerge in particular sight lines and their crosses with knowledge, with power and with the subject. That is, through knowledge, power and the subject, as the three axes that structure the work of Foucault and the axes of the map, this proposal places the problem of visibility as sociocultural construction, as a paradigm of visuality. Foucault's theoretical proposal, specified here as an archeology of visuality. Therefore, the theoretical framework is composed of historic elements discharging elements of analysis on socio-cultural construction of visuality (visual knowledge, visual practice), for, from this, incorporate a critical reading of the way Gilles Deleuze. In this sense, Foucault's thought provides both the theoretical and historical framework of a moving map as figuration, to try to modulate it, build it, rebuild it and approach the relationship between art and society from a critical conceptual platform. From a floating, mobile, mapping would be one of "the positive and multiple" one of the difference. La presente investigación se plantea paralelamente entre dos ejes: el primero el tema de la violencia en México en los últimos diez años, situación emergente para el país ligado al problema de los medios de comunicación, dentro de esta problemática; el otro eje se da en torno a la producción artística individual de Teresa Margolles en un recorrido no lineal en su producción hasta la última muestra en Kassel, Alemania, en el presente año. Teresa Margolles artista mexicana comienza a trabajar individualmente a partir de la segunda mitad de la década de los noventa, después de ser parte del grupo SEMEFO, nombre apropiado de la Institución pública: Servicio Médico Forense. Teresa Margolles fue seleccionada en el año 2009 para representar a México en la quincuagésima edición de la Bienal de Venecia, la muestra se tituló ¿De qué otra cosa podríamos hablar?, exposición que está concebida a partir de huellas materiales de asesinatos, reportes policíacos, noticias de prensa, sucesos socio-políticos; de conceptos como poder, muerte, y prohibición; de acontecimientos violentos reales en donde la artista concibe, se inserta y construye sus piezas, la morgue es espacio de trabajo a manera de taller de la artista que también se traslada a las calles en los últimos años, trabajando a partir de la llamada “guerra contra las drogas”, la cual ha generado fosas clandestinas, muertes de policías, de militares, de reporteros, de narcotraficantes, de madres, de familias, de niños, de miles de jóvenes. La producción de Teresa Margolles plantea un espacio de reflexión, de denuncia, enfrentándonos a una cruel espectralidad, su exploración con la muerte y el cadáver tiene que ver con la cuestión social, los procesos de duelo histórico que define el entorno actual que ha dejado miles de muertos en el país. La investigación se desprende entonces de las relaciones entre sucesos, hechos y engranajes de lo social, lo político y lo artístico. El trabajo está elaborado a través de un análisis rizomático, así como de la teoría contemporánea a partir del posestructuralismo francés y el arte contemporáneo. Description An account of the resource This research is established in a parallel way between two axis: the first one is the violence in Mexico during the last ten years, an emergent situation for this country, which is attached to the media problem; the other axis emerges around Teresa Margolles´s individual artistic production in a non-linear travel until her last exhibition presented this year in Kassel, Germany. Teresa Margolles, a Mexican artist, started working individually since the second half of the nineties, after being an integrant of some to group of SEMEFO, name taken from the public institution: Forensic Medical Service (Servicio Médico Forense). In 2009, Teresa Margolles was selected to represent Mexico for the fiftieth edition of Venice´s Biennial, the exhibition was named: ¿De qué otra cosa podríamos hablar? (Of what other thing can we talk about?) Exhibition conceived from the material traces of murders, police´s reports, news, socio-political events; from concepts like power, death and forbiddance; from real violent events, in which the artist conceives, becomes part and builds her pieces. Morgues, and recently streets, are like a workshop, working in the so called “war against the narco”, which has generated clandestine graves, and the death of: policemen, soldiers, reporters, drug dealers, mothers, families, children and thousands of young people. Teresa Margolles’s production raises a space for reflection, for denounce facing us against a cruel spectrality. Her exploration with death and corpses involves with the social matter, the historical grieving process that defines the actual background that had left over thousands of deaths in the country. So the investigation takes part from the relations between the events, the facts and social gears, political and artistic. The study is carried out through a rizomatical analysis, and also through the contemporary theory based the French post-structuralism and the modern-day art. El impulso humano que produjo los trazos en las cuevas de Altamira es el mismo que mueve la mano del artista contemporáneo hoy; el arte ha sido siempre y sigue siendo un receptor del eco del tiempo. Si tomamos entre las manos una caracola, al acercarla a nuestro oído lo que descubrimos no es otra cosa que el sonido del tiempo; recibimos en ese eco el registro de miles de años de vida, de miles de años de cultura, tal vez el eco de aquel primer sonido del Big-Bang. El registro del tiempo que atesora la caracola habita también las artes. En realidad, poco o nada significan las marcas que el hombre pretende establecer en el tiempo; no somos diferentes, nada nos hará diferentes, ni siquiera un milenio más. Somos el mismo acierto y error de hace treinta mil años. Dejemos la soberbia al pensar que llegaremos a ser como dioses; al tiempo que un hombre pintaba el bisonte sobre la pared de la cueva, otro reventaba el cráneo de su enemigo. En este instante se detonan bombas nucleares, al tiempo que un artista obedece a aquel mismo eco impulso creador proyectándolo hacia el mañana. La reflexión en torno al tiempo, la cultura y las artes es el motivo que ha reunido en este número especial de EBA Áurea colaboraciones procedentes de diferentes disciplinas; desde los primeros intentos del hombre por medir el tiempo y así organizar su realidad, hasta las más recientes tecnologías de la realidad virtual, pasando por la poesía, la pintura, la fotografía, la música... Reflexiones en nuestro tiempo en un espacio que espera seguir siendo fuente de discusión intelectual, de análisis y de pensamiento.
