El tema principal de este proyecto artístico es el vacío, aquél que se generó al percibir la falta de motivación y de diálogo sobre las prácticas artísticas, relacionado a los procesos creativos, el desconocimiento que se encuentra frente a las producciones artísticas; estas cuestiones que en ocasiones desmotivan a un artista a creer en su trabajo, y así es como las sociedades comienzan a poner en duda la capacidad o virtud que posee el arte. En un punto determinante de la licenciatura muchos de los pensamientos negativos que se tienen acerca de estudiar una carrera en Artes Visuales se implantaron en mi conciencia; por ello, me fue preciso involucrarme en distintos procesos: realizar una movilidad académica al extranjero que me aportó distintos conocimientos artísticos y una realidad distinta a la que creía; participé en grupos de trabajo; y posteriormente realicé mi propio taller con personas no afines a las artes, que me permitieron conocer sus propios vacíos y les permitió a ellos en carne propia conocer distintas posibilidades de creación a través de todo el proceso que se requiere para realizar una producción artística. Este documento es mi testimonio de investicreación artística y conjuga los procesos que llevé a cabo en distintos periodos y espacios, hasta la culminación de una exposición individual en el que presenté veintiocho obras artísticas como conclusión del proyecto. Description An account of the resource What possibilities can art generate today? Does it offer utility or is it beneficial for society? What kind of commitment does an artist protect in relation to art? The main theme of this artistic project is the emptiness, the one that was generated by perceiving the lack of motivation and dialogue about artistic practices, related to creative processes, the ignorance that is faced with artistic productions; These questions sometimes discourage an artist from believing in his/her work, and that is how societies begin to question the capacity or virtue that art possesses. In a determining point of the degree many of the negative thoughts that have about studying a career in Visual Arts were implanted in my conscience; for that reason, I had to get involved in different processes: to make an academic mobility abroad that gave me different artistic knowledge and a different reality than what I believed; I participated in work groups; and then I did my own workshop with people not related to the arts, who allowed me to know their own gaps and allowed them to know different possibilities of creation through the whole process that is required to make an artistic production. This document is my testimony of artistic investigation and it combines the processes that I carried out in different periods and spaces, until the culmination of an individual exhibition in which I presented twenty eight artistic works as a conclusion of the project. Se tiene que tener en mente el cuestionamiento de ¿qué tan viable es escoger una fuente tipográfica para una revista de moda? puesto que dentro del diseño gráfico se presentan muchas variantes para la realización de una revista de moda en México, para esta investigación de estudio se analizará específicamente en el campo gráfico de las cuales solo se enfocarán en dos temas importantes los cuales son: el diseño tipográfico y el diseño editorial. El primero se ha convertido en una disciplina donde los nuevos diseñadores buscan y quieren implementar procesos más creativos y estructuras más novedosas y llamativas para el consumidor, este aspecto aporta elementos para una buena lectura que van desde la clasificación tipográfica, su elección de estilo, su puntaje referente y dirigida especialmente a elementos de portada e interiores y sus diferentes medios de reproducción, ya sea impreso o digital, tomando en cuenta en este último punto que para un buen resultado depende de otros procesos como formato, selección del papel, gramaje , textura u opacidad y otros elementos alternos como lo pueden ser barnices a registro hasta laminados, dando un estilo más estético y funcional que puede llegar a gustarle más al cliente. Dentro del diseño editorial se toma en cuenta que dentro de una revista donde la estética es lo más importante, se busca expresar dentro y fuera la misma experiencia, comenzando por elementos esenciales dentro de la portada como de interiores, para determinar estos puntos tales como la estructura y a su vez como lo es la retícula, márgenes para la posición más adecuada en el acomodo de caja de texto e imágenes, puntos principales en la anatomía editorial. Es por eso que la investigación de esta tesis es enfocada a toda cuestión gráfica y de elementos que podrán ser de ayuda y consulta académica, donde se pueda apoyar a diseñadores o curiosos del tema que en el documento que se aborda llegue a formar parte importante dentro de una revista y que como objeto de investigación se formuló un análisis más específico donde se llevó acabo como contexto una propuesta. Description An account of the resource It has to keep in mind the question of how viable it is to choose a font for a fashion magazine? since within graphic design are many variants presented for the realization of a fashion magazine in Mexico, for this study research will be analyzing specifically in the graphic field of which will only focus on two important topics which are: the typographic design and the editorial design. The first has become a discipline where new designers seek and want to implement more creative processes and newer and more striking structures for the consumer, this aspect provides elements for a good reading ranging from typographical classification, your choice of style, your reference score and especially directed to cover and interior elements and their different means of reproduction, either printed or digital, taking into consideration in this last point that for a good result depends on other processes such as format, paper selection, grammage, texture or opacity and other alternating elements such as register varnishes up to laminates, giving a more esthetic and functional style that may come to like the customer more. Within the editorial design is taken into consideration that within a magazine where esthetics is the most important, it seeks to express the same experience inside and outside, starting with essential elements within the cover and interior, to determine these points such as the structure and in turn as it is the reticle, margins for the most appropriate position in the arrangement of text box and images, main points in the editorial anatomy. That is why the research of this thesis is focused on all graphic issues and elements that may be of assistance and academic consultation, where it can support designers or curious about the theme that in the document that is approached becomes an important part of a magazine and as a research object a more specific analysis was formulated a proposal carried out as context. Tratando de buscar una definición para la palabra arte, se ha llegado a la conclusión de que es difícil tener una definición con la cual todos se sientan conformes, ya que algunos sectores artísticos promueven que todo puede ser arte con su debida justificación. A pesar de que se han tratado de poner de acuerdo en una definición universal para las humanidades digitales (HD), ha sido un poco complicado de llevar a cabo, ya que las HD se encuentran en constante transformación. Description An account of the resource Throughout the Digital Humanities research, the Visual Culture and the Repositories, it’s been possible to put up a new research issue: turning back the look on the images generated by the WWW as an academic quality product, so this could be the basis of both an artisticalapproach and humanities research. The objective is to transform artistic expressions from visual appraisement only to a formal scientific resource; this to generate papers or essays about it’s content so we could be able to find out the purposes and perceptions of the artistic expression existence itself. A través del logotipo podemos comunicar de dos formas. La primera es la verbal y coincide con la de los receptores del producto. Se trata de un significado convencional. El segundo es el modo figurativo tipográfico. Es un significado añadido que el receptor extrae del tipo de letra, es decir, la forma de combinar las letras crean una sensación en el consumidor; de esta manera se logrará que se convencionalice y se posicione en la mente del público. El color es el medio más valioso para que una obra transmita las mismas sensaciones que el artista experimentó frente a la escena. Como parte de una formación artística, surge la inquietud de analizar aquellos conceptos que rodean las obras que se engloban en las llamadas Artes Plásticas. Las pinturas, esculturas, el arte gráfico y representaciones contemporáneas son parte de ellas y, al mismo tiempo, a éstas las constituyen una serie de aspectos estéticos que bien podrían revisarse individualmente. En el caso del presente trabajo se pretende analizar a la poética, como concepto que toma su esencia en la caracterización misma de las artes plásticas; sin embargo pareciera al mismo tiempo, que la poética surge como un cuestionamiento de una entidad no concluida que trata de desglosarse hasta sus últimas posibilidades. En este sentido, al analizar estos conceptos de las obras plásticas, la poética se pierde en el abismo de distintas interpretaciones. En un intento de definirla, se encuentran sus antecedentes directamente relacionados con la poesía en la antigua Grecia, la cual nos abre el camino que seguimos para su definición en este momento del Arte. Basados en distintas concepciones e ideas relacionadas de distintas posiciones filosóficas y estéticas se llevó a cabo el presente trabajo de investigación. OBJETIVO: Determinar elementos para fundamentar una teoría que justifique la existencia de la poética en las Artes Plásticas y se analizan los aspectos que conceptualizan el término de la poética para llevarlo al campo de las Artes Plásticas a través de analizar, conceptualizar, caracterizar y categorizar estos elementos y sus aspectos inherentes. MATERIALES Y METODOS: Se toman en cuenta textos de autores clásicos como lo son Aristóteles y Platón para analizar el término griego de donde proviene la palabra poética e indagar en su desarrollo durante esta época. También se abordan obras de Plotino y referentes a la estética de la Edad Media para crear un panorama más amplio del desarrollo del término tomando en cuenta otros como lo son la Belleza, la Verdad y la Mística. Al mismo tiempo que se consultan diccionarios de Filosofía y Estética para tener un concepto resumido del término poética. RESULTADOS: Se analizaron textos de distintos filósofos que tratan de indagar en el sentido del arte y la contemplación estética. CONCLUSIONES: Lo que tenemos es un acercamiento entre la poética y las Artes Plásticas que surge de la relación entre éstas y la poesía. Y por lo tanto, las características que rodean a ambas disciplinas se relacionan de una manera más estrecha de que sólo considerarlas como parte de las Artes. Aquello que llamamos poético en una poesía, lo llamamos de la misma manera en una obra plástica. Description An account of the resource The use of visual images to learn a second language is first used in the seventeenth century; however, it has remained as an important tool in the classroom. The objective of designing teaching graphic material, specifically images, is to stimulate the students to create their own visual images and to associate visual with graphic images. The drawings were produced in a graphic design program called ¨Illustrator¨, whose purpose is to ensure that students in the Engineering Faculty of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ), campus San Juan del Rio, Qro., improve and strengthen their vocabulary which is mainly based on machines, devices and tools found in the workshops of this faculty. El cómic norteamericano es entonces una forma de expresión que se ha desarrollado en parte gracias al desempeño de las partes que lo confeccionan (principalmente argumento y dibujo); cada elemento en el cómic (color, texto, tintas, globos de dialogo, etc.), puede tener una persona o equipo dedicado completamente a él, con Jo que estos elementos evolucionan cada vez para desarrollar mejor su función. Con esta "especialización" de cada componente, en el cómic converge la creatividad y expresión de diferentes personas desarrollando su función, lo que a su vez deriva en una mayor atención de estos elementos que podrían pasar inadvertidos. El cómic se nutre de algunas de las Bellas Artes y artes aplicadas, que enriquecen su expresión otorgándole bases para su mejor desarrollo. La evolución de los aspectos influenciados por el dibujo, pintura, diseño gráfico etc., ha llegado a niveles de calidad considerable; ahora la cinematografía es objeto de alimentación, cada vez con mayor influencia el llamado séptimo arte se manifiesta a través de principios técnicos y narrativos en el cómic, y parece será una disciplina de apoyo importante para el cómic en los próximos años. Sin embargo, el aspecto visual esta supeditado a una apreciación de corte similar a la literatura, por desarrollarse a través de múltiples páginas, esto presenta una variante para ambas formas de expresión; una expresión visual secuenciada en páginas, y una narración escrita donde la parte visual va mucho más allá de la labor de las viñetas, involucrándose por completo en la historia. Estos dos aspectos; argumento y dibujo, son sus ingredientes fundamentales, se encuentran auxiliados por la creatividad y sensibilidad artística de quienes desarrollan las demás etapas y elementos, los cuales se desarrollan en función del contexto y estilo de los dos mencionados elementos principales. La evolución del cómic en Jos últimos años ha sido evidente, para ello entre otras cosas, la tecnología digital ha jugado un papel relevante, es seguramente la herramienta que ha orientado al cómic hacia una nueva perspectiva, y ha permitido una más compleja elaboración, permitiendo también complejidad en los temas del argumento. Por otra parte, el gore es una forma de expresión fundamentada en su carácter explícito, esta es probablemente su principal característica además de la sangre, que no se mantiene como constante de obra en esta manifestación. El gore se ha manifestado en diferentes disciplinas de las artes, surge en la cinematografía y después llega a los soportes pictóricos, donde a pesar de su intención cruda y directa, la técnica es un elemento de reconocible calidad. La producción gore es accesible principalmente por medio de la música, no es aún muy extensa su distribución como obra visual por sí misma, lo cual ha dificultado su identificación como corriente expresiva, de esta forma abarcamos obra no precisamente gore, que ayuda a definir la ideología principal de esta tendencia, ya que este tipo de contenidos se han presentado en otras manifestaciones, de características menos enfáticas. Los principales argumentos que avalan al gore como una creación visual, residen en: técnica, contexto, idea y creatividad, estos elementos representan una sólida barrera entre el gore e imágenes sin pretensiones artísticas, que en un momento dado pueden parecer similares. La labor de estos cuatro elementos es también justificar la elocuencia de la obra, que a través de ellos se comprenda el por que Ja obra es así, ya que pueden abordarse otras formas para comunicar la misma idea, pero el gore lo hace por medio de la más explícita. El gore es principalmente expresivo, no pretende la belleza sino expresar de forma fulminante y directa, ¿a caso no es la expresión humana, una de las principales características del arte?, además el gore provoca sensaciones y probablemente una reflexión. Expresión, estímulo de sensaciones y pensamientos; elementos presentes en el gore, reconocidos como características fundamentales en el arte. resumen 3 La imagen para los CD's nace con un propósito utilitario, su expres1on esta ligada y supeditada a la obra musical. Dentro de las artes utilitarias, el CD testifica la simbiosis entre dos formas diferentes de expresión, donde la imagen es el anexo de la música. La imagen de CD' s, transmite una idea aún cuando esta puede no ser propia, lo cual no precisamente le resta valor, pues como ya mencionamos, dentro de las artes utilitarias el artista se ve ante la necesidad de enfocar su objetivo, con un fin impuesto por otro elemento. Aún cuando la portada recibe la mayor carga de la expresión visual, los demás elementos cumplen una función importante y específica, que debe ser minuciosamente atendida pues estos elementos influyen también en la percepción del espectador. El CD manifiesta notables cambios ante su predecesor, que implican ventajas y adversidades, por una parte el tamaño compacto permite una mayor ergonomía, mientras que pierde el amplio formato de portada, sin embargo la portada muestra una mayor resistencia al estar contenida en un acrílico etc. La música contenida en un objeto da pie a esta forma de expresión visual, que día a día se vuelve un elemento más importante para el audio, requiere atención especial pues sin él la música sería fastidiosamente identificable. Su tarea también consiste en guiar al espectador, hacia el contexto que el músico ha pretendido expresar, ya que desde la portada comienza una cierta sugestión y predisposición ante lo que vamos a escuchar, de esta forma el elemento visual en la música es sustancial, pues el interprete no querrá ser escuchado con una mala disposición de su auditorio. Las técnicas y formatos son extensas, aún dentro de las limitantes principalmente de presupuesto y reproducción, el óleo es una de las más recurrentes, aunque este es un aspecto libre. La imagen, similar como ocurrió con la letra (lyrics), es ahora un aspecto imprescindible del CD actual, la simbiosis de la expresión escrita, musical y visual, crean una obra muy completa donde estos elementos sueldan cada vez más. Estas 3 formas de expresión visual se desarrollaron durante el siglo pasado y se encuentran en un punto donde probablemente su evolución continuará, a la espera de ver en que forma son influidas y apoyadas por la tecnología, la cual que parece tendrá la más evidente evolución en el presente siglo. Así mismo las formas de expresión visual del cambio de milenio seguramente se verán influenciadas e intervenidas por la tecnología, adaptándose al paso que plantea la evolución y muchas de ellas procurando desarrollarse cerca del quehacer cotidiano del hombre. With the "specialization" of every component, in comic joins the creativity and expression of different people developing its own function, which at the same time derive in these elements having more attention, when easily it use to be unseen. Comic get feeded from sorne of the Fine Arts and aplicated arts, which enrich it given to it sorne bases to its development. The evolution of the influenced aspects by the drawing, painting, graphic design, etc., had now high quality levels, now a days, the cinematography is object of alimentation; every time with higher influence, the named seventh art is manifested by technique and narrative principies in comic, and it seems that it will be an important support discipline for comic in the coming years. No often, the visual aspect is conditioned to a similar way of appreciation than the literature, because it is developed along multiple pages, this represents a difference between this two expression ways; a visual expression sequenced in pages, anda writed narration where the visual part goes further than a vignette work, getting completely involved in the plot. This two elements; plot and drawing, are its fundamental ingredients, being helped by the creativity and artistic sensitivity, from who develop the other element and stages, in function to the context and style of the mentioned two main elements. The comic evolution in the last years have been evident, for that amongst other things, digital technology have played an important role, certainly it is the tool that has been oriented comic into a new perspective, and allowed a complex elaboration, allowing complex in the argument too. In other subject, the gore is an expression way that is founded in its explicit character; this probably is its main characteristic, instead of the blood, which is not the constant of this manifestation. The gore has been manifested in sorne different disciplines in arts, it carne out in cinematography, and then it carne to the plastic supports, where despite of its rough and direct intention, the techniques are an element of recognizable quality. The gore production is accessible the most by music, and hasn't a big distribution as a visual piece itself, what made difficult its identification, in this way we take work not precisely gore, which can help to define the main idea of this tendency, because this type of contents has been present in other manifestations not that explicit than gore. The principie arguments that avail gore as a visual creation, resides in: technique, context, idea, and creativity; this elements represents a solid barrier between gore and sorne images without any artistic intention, which can seem alike, but are not. Even when the cover holds the most of the visual aspect, the other elements have an important and specific function, which must be detail attended, because these elements influenced in our perception too. The CD manifest notorious changes respect its ancient form (the LP), that means advantages and adversities, in one hand the compact size allows a better ergonomic handling, while looses the bigger space for the cover, even so, the cover shows a longer resistance when in the CD is contained in an acrylic case, etc. The music contained in an object, starts with this visual expression way, that <lay by <lay becomes a more important element for the audio, it requires special attention, because without it, music were annoying to identify. Its work also consist in guide the spectator into the context that the musician has pretended to express, right then in the cover starts sorne suggestion and predisposition about what we are about to hear, in this way the visual element in music is substantial, because the musician wouldn't want to be heard in a bad disposition from the listener. The techniques and formats are extensive, even with the limitations about budget and production. Oíl painting is one of the most used, but it can be any other technique or combination of techniques. The image, just like it happens with the lyrics, is now an aspect of huge importance in the actual CD, the symbiosis between the writing expression, musical and visual, creates a very complete work, where this elements weld stronger every day. This 3 ways of visual expression were developed during the last century and are in the point where probably its evolution will go on, in the whisper to see how they are influenced and supported by technology, that seems will have the most evident evolution during the present century. No obstante, los hombres y las mujeres difieren en estos colores. Ambos coinciden con poca diferencia en usar el color negro y blanco. El rosa y morado son más empleados por las mujeres ya que para ellas son los que inspiran gran variedad de emociones confusas. Por lo que a la hora de trabajar los colores en el cartel debemos tener constancia del público al que va dirigido para jugar con la sensibilidad cromática. Los hombres, por otro lado, prefieren el color negro como el más utilizado cuando elaboran un cartel y al mismo tiempo combinan el blanco para obtener una gama de grises, logrando así extremos de brillo y saturación. Con la realización de este proyecto podemos concluir que ahora nos es más que evidente y vital la dependencia color/cartel. Al crearse un fuerte lazo entre todos estos elementos, el cartel adquiere el significado emotivo que adquiere cada color, probando así el poder persuasivo que la utilización de los colores poseen. Además conocimos que el color es un aspecto fundamental dentro de un cartel y sus objetivos generales son: el llegar efectivamente a producir emociones y sentimientos con intención en cada uno de nosotros sin que nos demos cuenta. La presente tesis documenta un estudio del ramo de motion graphics y su pertinencia en el área del diseño gráfico para su consideración en la implementación en los estudios de nivel superior. Esta rama comenzó alrededor de 1940 cuando los diseñadores y artistas gráficos decidieron incursionar en un soporte audiovisual realizando en un inicio experimentaciones artísticas de ritmo, forma y color para posteriormente producir los primeros créditos de películas. Posteriormente las compañías televisoras existentes en los 50's decidieron implementar en su identidad gráfica animaciones de sus logotipos, las cuales provocarían una explosión en la industria hasta nuestra actualidad. Los motion graphics utilizan elementos básicos del diseño gráfico y su retórica, como la composición de formas geométricas, línea, punto, color, tipografía, entre otros; por lo que está altamente relacionada la disciplina con las bases de dicha área. Entre los elementos que proponen una novedad en cuanto conocimientos técnicos se encuentran los conceptos de tiempo, ritmo, musicalización y encuadre, los cuales son esenciales para la composición de producciones audiovisuales que comuniquen de manera efectiva un mensaje y que principalmente atraiga la atención del receptor. Cuando un motion graphic implica un conocimiento de diseño pasa a conocerse como motion design o diseño gráfico en movimiento. A la fecha la educación superior en nuestro país carece de cursos de motion graphics lo que imposibilita no solo al diseñador gráfico sino a otros estudiantes el poder especializarse en este ramo si no es de manera autodidacta provocando una ausencia incluso de difusión de dicha área como posibilidad de aprendizaje académico oficial para el estudiante. En la ciudad de México se entrevistaron a diversos profesionistas reconocidos a nivel nacional e internacional quienes en efecto han coincidido en esta hipótesis y quienes igualmente en su mayoría son estudiantes de diseño gráfico que se vieron interesados por sus propios medios en averiguar y estudiar este ramo para desarrollarse. Todos ellos estuvieron de acuerdo en que el diseñador gráfico está ampliamente relacionado con dichos conocimientos y que sus bases le permiten desarrollar productos de mayor calidad por lo que su implementación de estos estudios beneficiará la industria a nivel nacional.
