El presente documento de tesis refleja una búsqueda por precisar la particularidad política del lenguaje fotográfico. Mediante una indagación en etimologías y prácticas culturales se define a la visión como un entorno de sentido, lo que funge como base para posteriormente acotar el análisis a una forma particular de producir significado a partir de la visualidad: la imagen fotográfica. Para mostrar la forma en que la imagen incide en este entorno de sentido se retoma el concepto de transparencia, categoría que aleja a la imagen de ser pensada como un soporte que refleja al mundo y a cambio la concibe como un lugar que participa activamente en la configuración del mundo. Así, la imagen se piensa como aparato performativo y en esta cualidad se ubica su particularidad política, es decir, en la posibilidad de incidir, desde su lenguaje, en lo que Jacques Rancière denomina el reparto de lo sensible. Esta premisa se pretende ejemplificar a través del proceso de un ejercicio fotográfico denominado “Los deseos anónimos”, en el cual se lleva a cabo la ejecución fotográfica de una lista de deseos encontrada en la habitación de una mujer desaparecida en Ciudad Juárez. A partir de este ejercicio se busca constatar cómo desde la práctica fotográfica se puede subvertir la relación informativa con las imágenes y a cambio proponer con ellas un tipo de relación en donde el propósito es encontrarse con lo que la imagen tematiza. Description An account of the resource The present work reflects a search to specify the political essence of photographic languague. Vision as an enviroment of sense is defined through inquire into etymology and cultural practices, what serves as base to delimit subsequently tje analyses of a particular form to produce meaning from the visual elements: the photographic image. To show the way that image has an impact in this enviroment of sense, concept of transparency is taken up, this category changes the idea that image is considered as a support than reflect the world, instead concives it as a place which is an active participant in shaping the world. In this way, image will be thinking as a performative channe and on this characteristic its political essence is situated, is to say, the possibility of influencing from their language, what Jaques Rancière calls distribution of the sensible. This premise is intended to exemplify throug the process of photograhic activity named “The anonymous whishes”, in which a photographic implementation of a whish-list found in disappeared woman´s room in Ciudad Juárez will be performed. From this, we seek to prove how from the photographic practice, informative relationship with images can be altered and instead we proposes with them a kind of relationship where the purpose is to discover what the image thematizes.
