En Saint-Romain au Mont d’Or, al sur de Francia se encuentra la Morada del Caos, un museo a cielo abierto y gratuito, que exhibe desde una estética cyberpunk, el proceso de los acontecimientos de buena parte del siglo XX y de los eventos que han ido sucediendo en los últimos once años. Las más de tres mil trescientas obras de arte que componen la Obra de la Morada del Caos, creadas por Thierry Ehrmann, propietario de la Morada del Caos, y su colectivo artístico itinerante, son una forma distinta de mirar a la catástrofe que, por un lado, se vincula al discurso sobre el accidente que propone Paul Virilio; por el otro, se desarrollan a partir de las teorías de la complejidad, particularmente la Teoría del Caos, de los códigos de la alquimia y de la operación en la TAZ. En este trabajo, desde una metodología rizomática se analizan los cruces que abordan al desastre como la actualización de potencias, pero se plantea que no obedecen a una física determinista, por lo tanto la sorpresa está siempre presente. Para Paul Virilio y para los artistas de la Morada del Caos los atentados de 11 de septiembre en Nueva York son el punto de quiebre que los lleva a proponer un estado de emergencia, pero mientras para Virilio es vital formular nuevas formas de resistencia porque lo importante es prevenir los accidentes que no dejan de multiplicarse a causa de la velocidad; en la Morada del Caos el accidente opera desde la fractalidad y constituye, muchas veces, un atractor extraño, así, la resistencia es concebida como la máquina de guerra deleuziana que potencia la libertad de creación y la libertad de expresión. Se traza en este estudio una nueva forma de mirar al arte, en particular a la Morada del Caos para poder comprender la esperanza que subyace en una creación de apariencia apocalíptica. Description An account of the resource The Abode of Chaos, at Saint-Romain au Mont d’Or in the south of France, is a free open-air museum that exhibits, by means of cyberpunk esthetics, the process of events from a large part of the 20th Century, as well from the last eleven years. The three thousand three hundred works created by Thierry Ehrmann, owner of the Abode of Chaos, and his itinerant art group make up the catastrophe. One the one hand, they linked to Paul Virilio’s discourse on accident and the other they have been developed from complexity theories, particularly the Theory on Chaos, from alchemist codes and from operations in the TAZ. In this work, using a rizomatic methodology, the crossings that address disaster as the up-dating of power are analyzed; however, it is established that these do not follow determinist physics. As a result, surprise is always present. For Paul Virilio and the artists at the Abode of Chaos, the September 11 attacks in New York are the turning point which leads them to propose a state of emergency; for Virilio it is vital to formulate new types of resistance because the most important thing is to prevent accidents that constantly multiply due to speed. In the Abode of Chaos, accidents are due to fractality and often constitute a strange attractor. Thus, resistance is conceived of as espression. In this study a new way of looking at art is set forth, particularly at the Abode of Chaos, in order to understand the hope which underlies a creation, the appearance of which is apocalyptic.
