CARTA A LOS REYES MAGOS De mi niñez, recuerdo la carta que escribía el 4 de enero para los Reyes Magos; por la noche la amarraba con un hilo al árbol de granada y a la mañana siguiente había desaparecido. Con febril impaciencia esperaba la Noche de Reyes. Este año, la historia se repitió. En la Editorial de un número anterior de esta Revista escribí una carta a los Reyes Magos: Pedía una orquesta; pedía música sinfónica; pedía que mi hermoso terruño queretano se recreara, como todas las ciudades cultas del mundo, con la vivida ejecución de la obra de los inmortales de la música. Y esta es mi primera Carta a los Reyes Magos que recibió la respuesta anhelada. Como llegaron a Belén aquellos legendarios personajes con su gran comitiva y aparato, llegó SERGIO CARDENAS, “el Mago de la Música”, y con él, un impresionante grupo de artistas que la memorable noche del Viernes Santo de 1992 me entregaron aquí, en mi terruño, el más hermoso regalo: El sublime mensaje de la fraternidad, al culminar la ejecución de la Novena Sinfonía de Beethoven. Y lo mejor de todo: Ellos no se fueron... se quedaron en esta tierra de bendición y continúan obsequiándonos las mejores joyas de la música universal, porque Querétaro les dijo: “Quédense con nosotros... los queretanos amamos la música.” ¡ BIENVENIDA, FILARMONICA DE QUERETARO !
